Karnali floods inundate 50 houses in Kailali, damage Ranijamara Irrigation Project

The flood in the Karnali River in Kailali has inundated the village. According to the local administration, water has overflowed from the canal constructed by Ranijamara Kulariya Irrigation Project in Patabhar of Janaki Gaonpalika-9 of the district.

Shivaraj Joshi, information officer of the district administration office, said that about 50 houses  inundated when the river water entered the settlement.

According to Joshi, four slopes built over the canal constructed by Ranijamara Kulariya Irrigation Project in Khairi Phanta of Janaki Gaupalika-9 has damaged due to the rising water level in the river.
