Monsoon has started coming out from the western part of Nepal. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has started from the far west and Karnali from Friday, a week later than the average time.
The department has also informed that there has been an exodus from the western part of Lumbini. Within a few days, the rain will end completely as soon as the monsoon leaves Eastern Nepal.
“There is no significant weather system that directly affects Nepal’s weather,” the department said.
On Saturday morning, there is partial to moderate cloud cover in Province 1 and the rest of the hilly areas. There has been light rain in one or two places of hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki. Light to moderate rain is expected in Lumbini, Karnali and one or two places in the far west and a few places in the rest of the state on Saturday afternoon.
