Two killed, eight injured in minibus accident in Surkhet

Surkhet, October17-
A minibus has met with an accident in Birendranagar of Surkhet district. Two persons  killed when a minibus (Na 02001 Kha 0166) of Deuti Civil Transport Corporation coming to Birendranagar from Bestada of Dailekh met with an accident on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, two persons died in the accident at around 4.30 pm today. The deceased has identified as Sushil Rawat, 18, of Narayan Municipality-11 and Shanta Acharya, 34, of Bhagwatimai Village Municipality-1, Dailekh, said DAC Ram Prasad Gharti.

He informed that one person is seriously injured and seven others sustained minor injuries in the accident. The injured being treated at the State Hospital, Maya Nursing Home, Gharti said.
