Spirit Airlines is hiring for a Flight Attendant Training Scheduling Program at its support center in Miramar, Florida. This role will oversee the effective and efficient training scheduling of flight crew to ensure that crew qualifications are maintained within regulatory compliance, effectively reducing the cost of crew training.
The role also facilitates collaboration with departments and the FAA by managing crew training through email and voice communication, training records, travel training, flight operations, supporting the management team, generating data and reports, and analysis.
Job Responsibilities.
- Reduce crew training budgets by properly scheduling training events for the qualified personnel needed.
- Data Entry. Ensure that all training data is entered into the appropriate digital data tracking tools.
- Quality Assurance. Check the accuracy of eligibility data and crew schedules stored in the digital scheduling software.
- Schedule EBC training in time to meet FAA inspector qualifications.
- Trainer Currency. Ensure that trainers are scheduled for training events.
- Training Schedule: establish an optimal schedule related to all training categories for the Training Division.
- Open time for pilot training; ensure coverage of events by bidding open time system as per CBA requirements.
- CBA Compliance. Ensure that management meets contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Software Support: assist Information Technology in the maintenance of company approved electronic programs through proper administration, code implementation, software testing, and general troubleshooting.
- Budget Analysis and Reconciliation. Support management and the financial management team through budget adjustments and analysis.
- Provide data and analytical support for training scheduling and training planning processes.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of scheduling experience preferred.
- Should have the option to decide the exactness of information got for input.
- Must have basic writing skills while ensuring accuracy of data.
- Must be able to follow appointment instructions and restrictions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time while writing, reading, or writing.
